FCE Services - The Functional Capacity Evaluation has been widely accepted and utilized in the Worker's Comp and Disability areas. An FCE should be used when you need to ascertain your client / claimant's physical capabilities and/or their validity. An FCE is indicated when:
-
The claimant needs to return to work at or above medium duty.
-
Claimant needs to return to a repetitive motion position.
-
Claimant has subjective complaints/ limited objective findings.
-
Need to determine the presence or severity of a disability.
-
Need to determine the loss of earnings capacity.
-
Need to determine consistency of effort.
-
Previous to an IME to attain objective defensible data.
(Indicators for an FCE)
Physicians may be reluctant to return employees back to the worksite without "solid objective findings". Attaining an FCE from Connect will remove or minimize the subjectivity of a "return to work decision". Having an objective assessment done by Connect can greatly increase the specificity of the return to work conditions. Connect performs FCE's at a number of satellite offices via mobile systems. Connect also has a number of provider clinics throughout the country. Connect can handle on the fly credentialing of providers in obscure areas of the country, as well.
Post Offer Agility Testing - Determines the ability of an employment candidate to perform the weighted activities required by his potential job. ADA and EEOC compliant.
Ergonomic Evaluations - Determines the appropriate set up of the work environment to assist in the reduction of workplace injuries. Connect is available to travel to your work site to suggest effective changes in employee work areas.
Depositions - Connect provides expert testimony as needed.
